We cook nearly every evening with the exception of functions and the evening we allow the chef a ‘break’. Our new Norfolk Taster Menus change daily.
Guests dine by candlelight and we are open to non-residents as well (subject to availability). Dinner is usually served at 7.30pm although we are trialing a staggered system throughout March and April for those of you who would like to eat a little earlier or later. The cost of our Norfolk Taster Menu is £32.50.
As it is a set menu (with a choice of Starter, Main and Dessert) we would ask guests to let us know of any dietary requirements or anything you don’t like, when you are booking so that we can plan accordingly.
We encourage you to book dinner as early as possible in order to avoid disappointment as we do get very booked up. We are able to take bookings for dinner (subject to availability) up to 4.30pm the evening before you wish to dine. Please note that Sunday lunches are only available from November to Easter and are by special arrangement only (minimum party size of 10).
To secure dining reservations from outside diners we require a credit card payment of £10 per head. All outside dining bookings will be charged for, in full, on the morning of the reservation. Cancellations can only be accepted with at least 24 hours notice.
Enjoy pre-dinner drinks in our comfortable lounge and bar or in front of the roaring fire in the circular dining room. Or in the summer months, why not sit on the lawn, looking out to sea over the reeds and marshes?
Guests can join us from half an hour before their meal, and enjoy the spectacular views from the gallery.
The windmill is fully licenced and we hold an extensive selection of wine, spirits and soft drinks.
Please be aware that we do get very booked up so, to avoid disappointment, you may prefer to book in advance rather than wait until your stay.
