This is the newest room to be converted and is only for the adventurous, fit in mind and body!
It is accessed by a steep carpeted ladder from the landing outside the Stone Room. It can either be booked on its own or with the Stone Room. These two rooms, though entirely separate and with their own ensuite facilities, can together make a highly unusual and uniquely characterful suite at the very top of the Windmill.
The Wheel Room has the most spectacular views of any in the entire windmill. There are four windows, each with a different panoramic view. The room has a wonderful four-poster oak bed, a basin and loo in the bedroom itself and a fully equipped shower-room on the floor above (again accessed by a ladder). Guests using this highly unusual room would need to bring their luggage in small cases suitable for lifting up the access stairs. Once in this wonderful room, no-one can deny that you have lived the true 'windmill experience'.
In order to confirm your booking you will be asked to read, agree and sign a 'Waiver Form'.
